Megan Sarnowski, LPC

Megan Sarnowski is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at WellMind who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Megan has been working in the mental health field since 2010 and brings a thoughtful, steady approach to therapy grounded in connection and trust.

Megan earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University and is licensed as both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. Her background includes working with clients across different stages of life and supporting a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns.

Megan places a strong emphasis on building genuine, collaborative relationships with her clients. She often draws from her training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop mindfulness, emotional regulation, and relaxation skills; especially when navigating intense emotions such as anger, anxiety, or stress. She is also trained in crisis intervention and is comfortable supporting clients during challenging or high-emotion moments.

Her therapeutic style is calm, supportive, approachable, and goal-oriented. Megan meets clients where they are in their wellness journey and works alongside them to identify strengths, build skills, and move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable.

Outside of work, Megan practices yoga, participates in book clubs, and enjoys music as ways to care for her own mental wellbeing.
