Mrs. Gomez is a bilingual therapist, a Licensed Psychological Associate, and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She has over 15 years of professional experience in mental health and has worked in humanitarian shelters, academic research, residential programs, and outpatient clinics. She obtained her Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages from New Mexico State University.
Mrs.Gomez has worked extensively with Hispanic populations and immigrant youth who have experienced severe trauma and various psychological challenges. She has a deep understanding of cultural and social factors that affect mental health and enjoys helping clients who experience depression, anxiety, substance abuse, domestic violence, or overall emotional distress. Mrs. Gomez provides individual, couples, and family therapy in English and Spanish.
