Jodie Rodriguez, LMSW Supervised by Kathy Giovas, LCSW-S
Jodie Rodriguez is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) currently working toward independent licensure as an LCSW. She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at El Paso. Jodie is committed to providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care and to reducing stigma around mental health within diverse communities.
Jodie has experience working with a wide range of populations, including at-risk youth, individuals experiencing homelessness, low-income families, adults, active-duty service members, and veterans. Her clinical experience includes assessing and treating concerns related to depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use, as well as supporting clients through life transitions and relationship challenges.
She integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and is trained in crisis intervention and case management. Jodie works collaboratively with clients to strengthen coping skills, emotional regulation, and insight, while also connecting them to supportive community resources when needed.
