Jodie Rodriguez, LMSW
Jodie A. Rodriguez is a Licensed Master Social Worker who is currently working towards her LCSW. She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at El Paso. Jodie was influenced by her own experience in therapy to become a mental health provider which sparked her passion for helping others. She also wants to reduce the stigma and negative perceptions about mental health that is presumed within culturally diverse communities.
Jodie has experience serving various populations to include: at-risk youth, homeless individuals, low-income families, adults, active-duty service members and veterans. She has experience in assessing individuals for depression, anxiety, substance use and trauma. She is competent in case management by referring clients to additional services that are available in the community to meet client’s needs. She is trained in crisis intervention and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Jodie strives to offer support for those who are in the process of improving their mental health, addressing relationship difficulties or adjusting to challenging life changes. She is providing psychotherapy services under the supervision of Kathy Giovas, LCSW-S
