Jessica Chavez, LCSW
Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is deeply rooted in serving our community with compassion, authenticity, and cultural awareness. A graduate of New Mexico State University, she earned her Master’s in Social Work in 2021 and has since devoted her career to walking alongside individuals and families through the ups and downs of life.
Jessica has worked with a wide range of people; including children, teens, young adults transitioning out of foster care, individuals experiencing homelessness, and adults facing grief, anxiety, and depression. Her clinical training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR Therapy, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) with Alexander Technique, and crisis intervention; allowing her to tailor care that’s both trauma-informed and effective.
Born from her work in case management, Jessica brings a strong understanding of community resources and believes in the power of connection both inside and outside the therapy room. She’s passionate about making mental health support more accessible and breaking the stigma that too often keeps people from getting the help they deserve.
At her core, Jessica believes therapy should feel safe, empowering, and real. She’s committed to helping clients feel heard, supported, and equipped to move forward; with tools, insight, and renewed confidence.
