Daniel A. Muñoz is a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish) at WellMind who provides compassionate, culturally responsive care to individuals and families. He holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at El Paso and brings a wide range of experience across crisis intervention, law enforcement, Child Protective Services (CPS), immigration reunification, and veterans affairs.
Daniel has firsthand experience working as a first responder, which informs his understanding of high-stress environments, cumulative trauma, and the impact of repeated exposure to crisis. His professional background allows him to support clients navigating trauma, life transitions, and complex systems with empathy, steadiness, and practical insight.
He works with individuals and families across the lifespan and takes a trauma-informed, client-centered approach focused on healing, resilience, and personal growth. Daniel is trained in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) and integrates nervous-system-informed care to support trauma processing and emotional regulation when clinically appropriate.
Daniel is committed to creating a safe, collaborative therapeutic space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward at a pace that feels right for them.
