Brittany Wapiennik is a licensed clinician at WellMind who works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and periods of intense stress or crisis. She brings a steady, calm presence to therapy and helps clients feel supported, understood, and safe…especially during times that feel confusing or overwhelming.

Brittany earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at El Paso. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings, including psychiatric hospitals and community-based care, which has given her experience supporting people during some of their most difficult moments. She is skilled in helping clients navigate emotional distress, develop safety plans when needed, and feel more grounded as they move forward.

In addition to her work with clients, Brittany also supports crisis counselors behind the scenes through her role with Crisis Text Line, helping ensure that people in distress receive compassionate, thoughtful care. This background reflects her comfort working with big emotions and her ability to stay present and steady when things feel heavy.

Brittany’s approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. She meets clients where they are and works together with them to build coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and create a sense of stability and hope. Clients often appreciate her calm energy, clear communication, and her ability to help make difficult situations feel more manageable.
